Who we are

The Student Loan People is committed to attracting outstanding employees by providing benefits and programs that bridge the gap between work and family obligations. Benefits available to full-time employees working at least 100 hours a month are:

Cafeteria Plan
The Student Loan People's benefit package is structured under a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, which includes flexible spending accounts that allow you to put money aside on a tax-free basis for reimbursement or qualified medical and dependent care expenses.

Kentucky Employee Retirement System (KERS)
The KERS retirement plan is designed to give you long-term security after you retire. It also contains valuable benefits for your named beneficiary. Your mandatory, tax-free contribution to your retirement plan is 5% of your base salary, which is automatically deducted from your paycheck.

Incentive Saving Plan (401K and 457)
The Deferred Compensation program lets you defer "pre-tax" income from your annual compensation towards a 401(k) and/or 457 retirement plan. There is no Corporation match with this plan.
